Caribbean Outreach Ministries started in 1990 in Barbados West Indies when the Sobers family moved from Guyana SA.
The actual Name of the Ministry was given to Malcolm and Anita Sobers in 1983 on the Dutch Island of St Maarten, while the Vision was later in 1988 in the United Kingdom, followed by the official move a year later.
The Sobers family was sent and commissioned by Apostle Phil Mohabir and the Apostolic team in Guyana SA to start their Apostolic mission to the Caribbean based on the Island of Barbados.
What started as an insignificant Ministry grew in influence through Personal counseling, Mentoring and Coaching sessions, seminars, Conferences and Missions activity which spread across the entire English Speaking Caribbean, with some spill overs to Dutch, French and Spanish speaking Nations.
Barbados, Antigua, and Guyana were the main bases, the last was Belize CA in 2000 to present.
COM's main thrust has always been Leadership development and helping persons in Five fold ministry, training, mentoring/ coaching encouragement to the discouraged.
As we look back at the years of COM, Malcolm's Horizontal Apostolic ministry, along with a strong Prophetic gift has given birth to a number of sons and daughters in the faith, as well as taken on spiritual orphans by adopting, and training them. The Ministry has brought healing to the hurting and wounded, several of those men and women are now serving in leadership roles in the churches, Organizations, and Market Place Ministries.
COM has gone through many Organizational Changes without loosing its original mandate of equipping leaders. The most recent change is transitioning into a full counseling, and coaching service.
Serving across the Greater Toronto Area and the province of Ontario.
